Taran Jefferson is a global Talent Acquisition leader with over 15 years of experience scaling high-growth teams across the life sciences industry. He has built and led TA functions from the ground up at companies like Seed Health and 10x Genomics, where he oversaw hiring across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, led executive search strategy, and helped scale R&D headcount through IPO and multiple acquisitions. Taran was also an integral part of the build-out of Regeneron’s Genetics Center (RGC). Before going in-house, Taran ran high-performing teams at multiple award-winning recruitment firms.
His approach blends behavioral science (including principles from the NeuroLeadership Institute and Thomas Profiling) with sharpness in operational design. He has trained over 90 recruiters and built values-based hiring systems that succeed in driving performance, equity, and retention. With deep experience partnering directly with scientific and executive stakeholders, Taran brings a rare combination of strategic clarity, systems thinking, and much-needed empathy into every engagement.
